The black jaguar lives in the Amazon rainforest and uses its black fur to blend in to the shadows around the forest. It also gets water from lakes or little water spots, usually near where they live, (in the trees). But what if they had no more ways to camouflage or get water because everything has dried up due to climate change? That's why in order to adapt they would need to change their fur color. Their fur color would change to a light, almost bleached yellow to blend in with the savannah shrubs around them. Their fur would also turn water resistant so that when/if it rains, the water can rest in a divot on their back until they are ready to drink it. This is how the black jaguar would adapt to climate change.
