Leopards are the apex predators in the tropical rainforest. Asserting dominance, they are strong and fierce creatures. Although the rainforest may be their home, how would a leopard survive in the savanna? It would need longer legs to generate speed and be more agile. It would also require larger lungs for increased endurance. An increase in muscle mass throughout its body and a very powerful bite force, as well as sharper claws, would allow hunting and eating to be much more efficient.
