The Capybara, also known as the Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris, is a giant rodent. It primarily lives in the northwestern part of Brazil in the Amazon rainforest. The present capybara has thin fur to go fast in water, webbed feet for swimming, and sharp front teeth for incising. In the future, it will inhabit the shrublands. The Capybara will now adapt to its habitat, with gray, brown, and purple fur to blend in with bushes, and thicker fur to protect from thorns and keep cold body temperature and moisture in. It will also have padded feet as the Earth heats up and the land gets dryer and hotter.
