The Giant Otter is an endangered species that lives in the Amazon, Orinoco, and La Plata river systems. Due to climate change their habitats are overflooding and the water temperatures are rising. The Giant Otter's habitat may soon turn into a big lake or even a sea. To better adapt to their new environment the Giant Otter may add a few physical and behavioral adaptations to survive in their environment. For example the Giant Otter may evolve into a creature with less fur due to rising temperatures in the water, bigger eyes for murky water and low light, bigger whiskers to detect more prey underwater, gills/ an organ to help them retain more oxygen, fins to help them swim underwater faster, sharper teeth to eat more of a variety of prey, and a more streamlined body shape for faster swimming. That is how I think the Giant Otter will adapt.
