The Squirrel Monkey lives in tropical rainforests in South America. Squirrel monkeys can live up to 25 years and are one of the most intelligent species of primate due to a large brain compared to their body. They eat insects, eggs, various fruits, flowers, and tender leaves. Squirrel monkeys are hunted by birds of prey, large cats, and snakes. In the next 100 years, sea levels will rise by 3.5-7 feet. The Squirrel Monkey will have gills so they can breathe underwater. The Squirrel Monkey's teeth will need to be sharper to catch and hunt fish. Their tails will have a stronger grip to hang from stuff. They will have bigger eyes to see better. Due to deforestation the Squirrel Monkey’s fur will be darker to match with the branches, if any predators tries to get a Squirrel Monkey they can blend in with branches.
