My animal is the great Potoo. When it hunts it pretends to be an extended part of a broken branch. Even their babies start practicing at an early age. The great Potoo doesn’t live in any specific part of the Amazon rainforest, they just live in the Amazon rainforest. The great Potoo looks a little like an owl but it is more related to the hummingbird. They have something that looks like a nose but it is a tooth but they don’t use it very much. The great Potoos adaptation is sharper talons for perching because I imagine it would get harder to stay on branches when the Amazon rainforest basically turns into the savanna. They also need them to fight off predators. Also when the Amazon rainforest gets dryer like a desert the tooth thing will turn into a skinny beak to get bugs.
