The Golden Lion Tamarin

The Golden Lion Tamarin is an omnivore that mostly consumes small insects, fruits,eggs etc. This monkey has some very special characteristics such as golden, reddish-brown fur, long hands with long fingers, sharp, long claws, a long tail etc. However, in the future, if the Tamarin was to adapt to a more savannah-like environment, the monkey would gain some new adaptations. Firstly, it would have a lighter, browner, fur color, so that it could easily camouflage into the environment. Secondly, the claws would become stubbier and shorter, so that the monkey can dig up holes underground, so that it can rest at night. Originally in the rainforest, the monkeys tend to hide in tree burrows. Thirdly, its limbs might grow longer and stronger, so that it can run faster and the monkey’s tail may also become shorter as it doesnt need to be as long anymore.
