As the world warms, fish in the Amazon will start to die out due to warming water temperatures. To adapt to this, red-bellied piranhas will evolve legs to hunt on land, and a large nose to breathe oxygen. Their teeth will shrink in size and sharpness to crush the exoskeletons of insects and to swallow small animals whole, these are their main prey. Piranhas will also gain increased eye size to better spot their small prey. And although the piranhas will walk on land, they will still keep most of their fins to swim in water and hunt if they really need to - but mostly they will be hunting on land.
