The Agouti Future

The Agouti Present My animal is the agouti. The agouti eats leaves and drinks water from the rainforest. Its quick moves can escape predators and they burrow so animals don't get into where he lives. They have brown fur so they can blend into the dirt. The Agouti Future The Azara Agouti likes to have a warmer area and they live in the Brazilian savanna. The Agouti will have to change to a lighter brown. They will have to get bigger to protect themselves from predators like eagles, jaguars, and ocelots. They can live to be 20 years old so once the agouti has lived for a couple of years they will discover their predators. When it is hot their fur can act as an air conditioner like dogs because it is going to be hot in the savanna's so it will have to adapt to its new environment.
