Our Leafy Hyacinth Macaw

Hyacinth Macaws are one of the most fascinating creatures in the world. However, their species are declining at a faster rate than they can reproduce. As the usual case, this is due to deforestation and human activities. Hyacinth Macaws are known for their lush, blue feathers. These feathers might be elegant, but it doesn’t help when trying to camouflage in the rainforest. More than anything, their bright, beautiful feathers stand out in the dark, gloomy rainforests. Therefore, these feathery beings can be an easy target for predators. In the future, I believe that the Hyacinth Macaws should have more of a greenish shade to their feathers. That way, they could hide without being seen so easily. However amazing our flying friends may be at this moment, their species may not last much longer. An adaptation to these creatures would benefit their overall survival in the dangers of the wild.
