The Ocelot lives in the tropical rainforest. They are tan with dark brown marks, big eyes, and long tails. These features may be needed in a few hundred years.
If the world becomes a desert, ocelots will have to adapt. Ocelots have night vision to help them see when they could be vulnerable. Sharp back teeth to help eat dried plants, grass, and kill prey. The last physical adaptation they have are sharp claws to help climb trees.
Ocelots are also going to need behavioral and physiological adaptations. They are nocturnal so predators can’t eat them while they are asleep. Retractable claws so they don’t scratch themselves. Their whiskers detect vibration, so they know when predators are nearby. They make milk so they won't have to worry about feeding their kittens. They live alone but hunt with others.
All these adaptations will help ocelots survive tremendous changes in the environment.
