In a far future where climate change has caused the sea to rise enough to cover much of the rainforest, turning it into a swampland. At the same time humans have intensified their hunt against jaguars due to their growing consumption of livestock. Jaguars have no choice but to flee into the waters. They are already able swimmers, but after millions of years of natural selection, this feline has evolved to become a semi-aquatic mammal. Sporting webbed hind paws and thin streamlined tail, the jaguar now uses its powerful hind legs to propel itself through water. Its stomach is now a darker color to limit its visibility to fish below. Like ducks, they produce an oil that coats their slick fur to prevent them from waterlogging. These new creatures spend most of their day in the water of the swamp, slowly coasting across the water.
