Right now Okapi’s are an endangered animal that lives in the Ituri tropical rainforest. It has a long neck, striped legs, flexible ears, white ankles, a reddish-chocolate coat, oily fur, and two horns on its face. Okapi’s run about 37 miles an hour. They also live in a dense, dark, moist, and humid tropical rainforest located in Africa. In the future, Okapi will live in a Savannah. They will have claws to kill prey. Okapi will also be a lot faster so they can run away from predators. Okapi’s will have more of a tan coat with faded stripes so they can blend in the Savannah more. Okapi will have bigger horns to scare predators. They will have short necks for eating grass off of the sandy ground. Lastly Okapi’s will be bigger to scare away predators, and they have dry fur due to the dry Savannah.
