The Burmese Python seizes its prey by wrapping its tail around it until it’s dead. Then it will open its mouth and stretch its jaws if needed and eat its prey whole. It is a carnivore so it will only eat meat. They are excellent swimmers and can stay emerged underwater for 30 minutes. It camouflages with the dirt on the ground and the branches on the trees. When the rainforest dries out in the future the Burmese Python will become more of a beige color to camouflage on the sand. Since the rainforest dried out now there’s no river or lake to swim in so it will hide itself in the sand. It will develop venom and the venom will work faster than squeezing its prey so it does not get stolen. For shelter it will dig in the sand because that’s the only suitable shelter.
