The bush dog is an animal related to the maned wolf and the African wild dog, though not very closely. It lives in many biomes, but often in rainforests, and it almost always lives near water. It has partially webbed toes, because it often swims, a short tail, a dark coat, and small paws. The bush dog of the future will swim more and spend more time in the water, due to rising sea levels. It will develop a longer tail and larger paws to be able to swim better. Its toes will also become fully webbed for the same reason. Its coat will lighten, since fewer trees will mean fewer shadows for the bush dog to hide in, so it will be living in a lighter environment.
