The Okapi

My animal is the Okapi. Okapi are also known as the zebras of the forest. They live in the rainforests in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Okapi’s eat leaves, grasses, fruit, and some species of fungi. The trees will probably become shorter due to rising sea levels. Their fur becomes a little shorter due to hotter weather due to more forest fires. Okapi might become a little skinnier due to more forest fires. One of the okapi’s threats is habitat loss.
