The Ocelot is a fierce predator from the tropical rainforest. They have gold and grey fur with a rosette pattern. Ocelots are nocturnal meaning they are most active at night. The ocelots, unlike Other cats, they like to swim.The ocelot can run at a speed of 38 miles per hour.They also have sharp vision and hearing. An Ocelot protects itself by climbing up tall trees and camouflaging into the leaves. The ocelots eat small rodents. They also eat birds, snakes, iguanas, lizards, young deer, rabbits, peccaries, they even eat fish and crab. Due to climate change the tropical rain forest will turn into a savanna.
