My animal was a trout and he turned into a torutagator. He was swimming peacefully in his lake when suddenly, the water level decreased. He had gills, fins, and scales. Eventually the water got so low that his head was poking out. He adapted by being able to breathe in and out of water. But the water kept going down after a while, he grew legs so he can walk in and out of water. His adaptations were losing his fins, growing legs, being able to breathe in and out of the water, and having thicker scales to protect from predators.
