How capybaras are living right now
They eat reeds, grains, melons, and squashes. Due to pollution, the melons and squashes will no longer be good so they would have to adapt to just eating grains, and reeds. The grains and reeds wouldn't be enough food for them, so they are going to have to dig the ground to find food. Due to this they will have longer claws so they can dig for the food. Also due to the change in climate, their ears will get bigger. Why is that the ears get bigger? It's because with bigger ears the animals will better regulate their body temperature. They will get stronger back legs so they can swim when the temperature gets hot.
How will the capybara look in the future?
They will have bigger claws, bigger ears, and stronger back legs. These are some changes the capybara would have.
