The capybara is the world's largest living rodent and you can find them on land or bodies of water. Capybara's can be under water for 5 minutes and some times they fall alseep and keep there nose at the top of the waters. They eat grass, water plants, reeds, grains, melons, and squashes. Capybaras live in South America. on land they can run op to 22 mph, in water they can swim up to 5 mph. they can hide in water, wetlands, and other fesh water sources. To defend themselves they use their sharp teeth, waring barks, and by hiding in the water.
