Toe-Toed Sloths have lots of adaptations that help them survive in the rainforest canopy environment.Two-Toed Sloths have hook claws which grip onto trees.
Another adaptation is their neck which has extra vertebrae which allows them to turn their heads 360 degrees.
Also they have stomachs that can digest rough leaves that most animals can’t digest.
Because of climate change Two-toed sloths will change. More heat means more rain which means more trees which means more predators. They will need fingers so they can crawl on the ground and escape from predators. Also they will need short claws to crawl on the ground.
Also their eyes will be bigger so they can see predators from farther away! They will also need to have bigger heads to fit their eyes so they will not be able to turn their heads as much.
With the Two-Toed Sloth’s new adaptations they will survive.
