Deep in the Amazon Rainforest lies the Amazon River. It is 3977 miles long, so long that mayber the rainforest could turn into an ocean in the future, if climate change causes more rain to fall. Animals like the jaguar will need to adapt to their new environment. Their skin will become smoother and change colors, with blue spots to blend in. They will develop gills to help them breath under water and they will have night vision to see in dark water. The problems the rainforest is facing might change the jaguars' adaptations. If the Rainforest turns into an ocean, this might be how the Jaguar adapts.
