Future Creatures Challenge

The Amazon Rainforest is home to the spider monkey, but in the future, the rainforest will change rapidly due to deforestation, climate change, and urbanization by humans. The more trees that are cut down, the fewer food sources will be available, causing them to travel farther for food. Climate change makes the growth of plants and trees unpredictable due to irregular rainfall and rising temperatures. Spider monkeys might adapt to a tougher diet, eating more resilient vegetation and scavenging for food. Their limbs may become longer and more muscular to help them travel greater distances with fewer trees. Some monkeys will travel to higher altitudes for cooler temperatures, while others may adapt to the changing climate. Over time, they will continue to evolve in response to environmental changes.
