Jaguar

My animal is the Jaguar. Currently the Jaguar lives in the rainforest anywhere, preferably near rivers so they can hunt their prey and get a drink. They have a rosette pattern to help them blend in to hunt their prey. They have also learned how to climb, allowing them to get to prey in the trees. They also have powerful jaws that help them to destroy caimans in the water along with lots of their other prey. They have also adapted to have the ability to be nocturnal hunters allowing them to capture prey that may only show during the night. In the future they will live in a dry savanna. They will become omnivores because prey will become more scarce in the future. They will have to learn to go a long time without water. And the colors and patterns will change to camouflage in the dry savanna.
