The Pygmy Marmoset lives in the moist Amazon region. The Marmoset gets its nickname for its length which is 13 centimeters long or in other words five inches long that’s as long as a 1 dollar bill. The Marmoset mostly eats fresh and dried fruit.
In the next 100 years the rainforest may vanish due to deforestation so the Pygmy Marmoset will have to adapt to different habitat most likely to the desert. The Pygmy Marmosets will need to be a bit bigger in size and have a thinner body to blend in with their surroundings, their fur will also change color to a brownish fur.Their diet would have to change to a only berry diet. The Pygmy Marmoset will also need larger hands and feet to run fast from predators. These adaptations will help the Pygmy Marmoset.
