Red Pandas live in China, Nepal, and Bhuta. They eat bamboo, small mammals, bird eggs, but they occasionally snack on fruit. They are suffering from poachers, illegal trading, and the loss of nesting trees and bamboos. Currently there are 1,864 left since September 4, 2024. In the future there will barely be any Red Pandas left due to extinction. Martens and Snow Leopards are predators to the Pandas. While temperatures rise, Red Pandas will move to the mountains instead of trees to adapt to climate change. While they move to mountains they will also need fluffier fur for warmth and longer tails for shade. They will also start to eat food that's not bamboo (ex. small mammals and fruit). Red Pandas will also change to a darker color but will still keep their famous red fur.
