As the rainforest environment changes into a savanna, jaguars continue to adapt to survive. Because they can no longer be hidden by the shadows of the vegetation, the population of black jaguars will drastically reduce. Even though they are already rare, their dark colors will be hard to camouflage with the savanna grass, so the number of black jaguars surviving will be really low. In addition to this, jaguars will develop a leaner body and longer tail because instead of climbing trees, they need to be more adapted to running through the grass to hunt.
