Where Did Our Home Go?

The Rainforest Home Paroot and Parqueet are two happy parakeets. They live in a big, green rainforest with lots of trees, colorful flowers, and tasty bugs to eat. The air is warm, and the sun shines through the leaves. They chirp and play all day, flapping their bright green and yellow wings. Their feathers blend with the trees, keeping them safe. Life is easy and fun! A Hot, Dry World A long, long time later, their home is gone. Big fires and hot weather have turned the rainforest into a dry, grassy land. There are only a few trees left. Parqueet’s feathers have turned dark like ashes to help him hide from danger. His beak is strong to crack tough seeds. But Paroot is not so lucky—humans have to help him by feeding him with a special tube. Even though everything has changed, they keep going, strong and brave.
