Silverback Gorillas live in the dense forests in East, Central and Western Africa. They have strong knuckles for walking on all fours. Most silverback gorillas weigh about 430 pounds, which is why they don't run long distances. They eat shrubs and shoots. These creatures aren't very endangered species. In 2023, it was stated that there are about 1,006 gorillas left but there could still be way more that aren't being tracked.
It is considered that the jungle will turn into a Savannah. This will turn into a new life for the Silverback gorillas. For starters, they will have better vison for spotting predators in the open land. They will also have really strong leg muscles for standing up on there hind legs to get leaves in the trees. They will also be a light tan for blending in with the grass. The Silverback gorillas use these adaptations to survive.
