Toco Toucan in the Future

Toco Toucan lives in the rainforest of South America. The toucan has a black body, with a white spot on their throat, and a orange and yellow beak. Its color helps it blend into the rainforest. It has a long curved beak to help reach its food. The sharp claws of the toucan lets it grip to the branches strongly. When the rainforest converts into a savanna, the Toco Toucan will have to adapt to the savanna environment. Here is what I think what will happen to the toucan. The toucan will change color to brown and yellow to match the color of the grass. Since there is not a lot of water the creature will have more feathers and bigger wings to fly to find water. There will not be a lot of trees in the savanna, so he will have a longer and narrower beak for caching insects.
