The present picture includes an armadillo, which is small mammal that has a leather like amor shell and small legs but long claws. Armadillos can be found in many different environments but one that they are seen in is rainforest. They usually eat insects and other small bugs. They dig holes in which they spend most of their day sleeping in. In the first drawing the armadillo is walking on the ground of the rainforest.
The future picture is an armadillo with a larger built, longer legs, thicker skin and a harder shell. This evolution of the armadillo in the drawing represents a mammal that has a higher chance of survival to climate changes and predators. With the thicker shell it makes it harder for predators to have access to the armadillos fragile organs. The longer legs help them climb up trees easier to be able to reach more food.
