The present Scarlet Macaw lives in the Southern Mexico to Peru, as well as Peruvian Amazon. Did you know that macaws are the largest parrots in the world? They're about 36 inches long. Macaws are adapted for flying through the forest, with a streamlined body and tail shape and wings that don't flap deeply.
The Peruvian Amazon is now a savannah. Therefore, the future Scarlet Macaw now has a smaller body for temperature regulation. They now have a smaller beak so it can eat smaller insects. The savannah does not have that much water. So the macaws have bigger legs so they can migrate to find water. They also has doll wings so it can camouflage in the tall grass. This help them hide from their predators. In the end the Scarlet Macaw can change it's body so it can be adapted to it's home that now a savannah.
