The jaguar’s fur is spotted with black and yellow, but due to deforestation its environment, once a thriving rainforest turned into a wasteland of sand and cacti. The jaguar has adapted to have lighter sandy looking fur. It is also smaller than before to use less energy during scarce times with little to no water. The only water it gets is from small cacti that it tears apart with its large teeth. It also has adapted to smell the large animals in the desert such as camel, addax, and bighorn sheep. It has a short tail for more mobility.
