Capybaras live in the rainforest(South America). Capybaras are the largest rodents. They can weigh more than 100 pounds (45kg). A capybara has a barrel shape body with short legs a corse brown coat a blunt snout and partially webbed feet and mostly its eyes, nose and ears positioned high on its head. The capybaras skin is brown. Capybaras eat plants, fruit and poop. Baby capybaras are called pups. Capybaras are fantastic swimmers. Capybaras teeth don't stop growing. When capybaras are in the savanna the capybaras skin turns yellow. Their body kinda changes its shape. Capybaras save the water in their eyes, ears and nostrils. Capybaras are friendly they would not attack anybody. Capybaras use their yellow skin to camouflage. the capybaras predator is the boa, crab eating foxes, small cats and birds of prey like the caracara and black vulture.
