Ocelots are cat-like animals that live in the Amazon Rainforest and Texas. Scientists predict the rainforest will dry out and become more desert-like in the future. There will also be fewer trees since the ground will be less moisture. The ponds will begin to dry out as well. The ocelot’s spots will slowly disappear or lighten to generate less heat in the summer and then it grows back as it gets colder. More animals will die including the ocelot. Since the ocelot is a big predator there will be a lot more tertiary consumers. That means fewer secondary consumers and more primary consumers.
