Bull Sharks normally live in the ocean, but the Amazon is fresh water, so how do they travel up there? The simple answer is adaptations. Bull sharks are the only type of sharks that are able to travel into freshwaters, and can survive in a habitat of entirely freshwater for four years! Normal bull sharks have sharp senses, but with the climate changing these sharks need to adapt. Some future adaptations include the ampullae of lorenzini will become sharper, teeth will be longer and more serrated, and will be able to finish off prey in quick slices. The new adapted bull shark will change colors from gray and white to a light gray torso, and a milky-brown belly for camouflage in the deeper murky waters. The bottom half will camouflage the bull sharks when the prey looks up, and when the prey looks down, the shark will almost be invisible.
