Gorilla Growth

Gorillas are seen as creatures that are both big and strong. But will they stay like that in the future? I predict that due to climate change, there will be food scarcity and higher temperatures. Therefore, gorillas will adapt by decreasing muscle mass to conserve energy, as muscles use the most amount of ATP, and will adjust by having shorter hairs that are lighter in color, to decrease heat retention as darker colors attract more heat, while also transitioning from black skin color to brown skin color, as it will reduce heat retention but also protect them from UV radiation because of the melanin production.
