The Golden Poison Dart Frog lives in the Amazon rainforest near Columbia and is threatened by climate change and deforestation. They are 0.5 - 2 inches in length and have a long sticky tongue to catch insects. The Golden Dart Frog lives on the forest floor among the leaves and grass. They don't climb and can't swim well because they don't have webbed feet. The Golden Dart Frog is endangered because of habitat loss and climate change which causes water levels to go up and some species of insects to die. To survive these dart frogs have a wider tongue to catch insects more efficiently and a larder mouth to fit its tongue. They will start living near rivers and develop webbed feet so that they can swim proficiently. The Golden Poison Dart Frog will also become slightly smaller so that they don't need as much food to survive.
