Before climate change, Jaguars would grow up to six feet long, as they were the third largest cat species in the world. They also had big padded paws for pawing along the forest floor. Additionally, they had bright spots and fur to blend into the rain forest, and a big strong jaw to eat its prey, up to 85 different species of prey.
After climate change, these cats only grow up to four feet long, as to their new diet of eating river species. Their fur is also darker, so they can blend into the more brown rain forest now, and into the darker river water. They also have less strength of a jaw to eat these less intense river animals as their prey. And finally, their paws have evolved into webbed paws to help the Jaguars better swim in the rivers, and catch their prey.
