The giant otter species is mainly found in the Amazon Rainforest (Brazil) and inhabits most of the Amazon's wetlands. Their diet mainly consists of fish, varying from catfish to characins. The first drawing shows a giant otter in its habitat. It also shows their physical features, such as their long whiskers, webbed feet, elongated body, thick fur, waterproof fur, and flat tail. All these features help with swimming and hunting for fish. Unfortunately, as global warming and water pollution become more serious problems, the giant otters will need to adapt by losing and gaining different physical features and by changing their diet. The second drawing shows the giant otter without webbed feet, whiskers, or thick skin. Instead, they have developed a shorter tail, thinner skin, and a new diet. From the water pollution, the fish population will decrease, leading to giant otters eating snakes and caimans to survive.
