The leopard lives in the Amazon rainforest, a dense tropical region located in multiple countries in South America. The Amazon is a very lush rainforest with high humidity and various species living in it. Leopards adapt to this environment by having a thick coat of fur and being able to camouflage. Their sharp claws let them climb trees and effectively hunt prey. Their razor-sharp teeth allow them to hunt all kinds of animals. In the future, the Amazon may shift towards a more dry environment due to rising temperatures, droughts might occur more often. Due to the ground being drier, their claws are more reinforced to keep climbing frequently. Due to the loss of many species, they will hunt and have a wider variety of what they eat. Heat during the day will force them to be idle, and be active at night because of cooler temperatures.
