The green anaconda lives in the rainforest and slow-moving rivers. It spends most of its time in the water, and its green color helps it blend in with the plants and water making it harder for animals to see. In the future because of global warming and melting ice, the anaconda's home will change. The water levels will rise, and the rainforest will become flooded. The anaconda will adapt by living completely in the water. Its body will change to be more slim like for swimming, and its tail might turn into a fin to help it move faster. The green color will still help it blend into the dark water. The anaconda will hunt fish and other water animals in its new home.
