The poison dart frog’s habitat is a shaded low part of the rainforest. It contains leaf litter, moss, and water resources, such as ponds, all of which are found in the picture. Due to climate change, this habitat and environment will get hotter and drier. Three of this frog’s traits are bright colored skin, moist, thin skin, and the fact that they’re mostly active throughout the day. But after climate change, the frog's future habitat and environment is completely different, which was put into effect by climate change drying the lush rainforest out. The previous traits of the frog adapted and changed in a way where now, the frog's skin is thicker to avoid drying out, its color is duller to blend in with its surrounding area, and it's adapted the behavior of being nocturnal to avoid the harsh sun and heat.
