I think that in the future, vampire bats’ habitats and environments would be a lot warmer. There would be a lot of climate change and a lot of animals would go extinct, including the animals that vampire bats drink blood from, including cows, pigs, horses, and birds. Then, the vampire bat would either go extinct too, or make adaptations to survive in the much warmer weather. The adaptations could include changing food sources, and even though vampire bats have big ears to shade their faces, their ears might get even bigger to vent out heat and shade themselves. Another adaptation could be webs like a spider’s. The bigger animals that are less likely to get caught in webs would probably go extinct, so vampire bats would switch to eating mosquitos. That might also mean vampire bats might be a little bit smaller. It might be called the Big-Eared Weaver Bat.
