Scarlet Macaw

Today the Scarlet Macaw has a curved beak for cracking nuts, grooming, gripping, and defense. The wings are used for flying, communication, and camouflage. The feet are used for gripping, support, and manipulation. The eyes are used for sight. The tail is used for flight balance and steering. They live in the rainforest. In 1,000 years, their feathers will all have a lighter colors because the rainforest will change into grassland. They will have smaller eyes because they will have brighter sunlight. They will also have smaller feet and a less curved beak because they will be living in the grass and not in trees.
