The Green Anaconda (Eunectes murinus) lives in the tropical rainforests mainly in South America. They’re also found in the Amazon and Orinoco river basins. Green Anacondas eat almost anything they ambush or overpower. They can even eat big dogs, peccaries, and even Jaguars! The Green Anaconda's appearance is olive-green to brownish skin, covered in dark, circular or oval blotches on their back, and smaller yellow-covered spots on their sides. A Green Anaconda’s size is typically 10-20 feet but can exceed 30 feet. They weigh over 550 pounds.
Global warming is melting icebergs which is causing the sea levels to rise. In this case the Green Anaconda will have to adapt to the ocean in the future. It will cause it to grow fins and gills, also changing its diet to sharks, whales, fish and other things. They have black and white spots on their body causing a “flicker” to predators.
