A capybara lives in a moist environment with places to swim in so they adapted to the environment by getting webbed feet, swimming from predators. A capybara also has high ears to hear better that helps it be alerted when a predator comes near. A capybara also has coarse, brittle fur to help them dry more quickly when they get wet. It is an advantage and disadvantage because the coolness from the water allows them to cool down and reduce sickness but they make them feel uncomfortable from the wetness. Climate change can affect the rainforest because if the water gets evaporated by the heat, then it will be more of a savanna rather than a rainforest. The capybara can adapt if their feet adapt to running by replacing the webs with claws The capybara will also form a hump on its back to store water and cool it’s body.
