My animal is the Aye-aye and they live in the rain-forests of Madagascar. The Aye-aye has a unique extended middle finger adaptation that helps them grab grub. Aye-ayes are used to living in trees and are mostly found in canopy trees. They also have large eyes and dark fur for nocturnal life. Climate change is causing more droughts and people are cutting down the trees and the Aye-ayes will have no where to live. The animal will have to adjust to less trees and they will have to start crawling on the ground. Only the largest will survive in the wild so as generations pass then Aye-ayes will be much larger and they won't have the adaptation of the large middle finger because there won't be as many trees. Aye-ayes have incisors that can gnaw through wood and reach insect larvae in trees. They live in trees to evade predators.
