Squirrel Monkey

The Squirrel Monkey is a very skilled and intelligent animal that uses its very strong legs to leap from tree to tree, very long nails to attach to branches, and forward-facing eyes to measure distances. By having these abilities it's very easy to survive in rain forests. But as the days go on, deforestation and many fires cause habitat threats that could result in the Amazon Basin turning into a Savana. There will then be droughts and the Squirrel Monkey would probably die. If the Amazon Basin does end up turning into a Savana, the Squirrel Monkey will need to become stronger to dig in the ground for insects and food, have a shorter tail for better mobility, and lighter fur to be able to blend in better.
