Future creature

Capybara’s live in the Amazon rain forest; their habitat is near the water, lakes, rivers, ponds and flooded, their adaptations are semi-aquatic lifestyle eyes, ears, and nostrils positioned high on their heads for observation in water and long, brittle fur dries quickly. My creature will develop a webbed, they might grow longer feet to make them swim faster, eyes, ears, and nostrils on top of their heads to stay hidden underwater. They might change color to more like a rock color to hide from predators the ability to hold their breath for up to five minutes. their are threatened by deforestation and human development for agriculture rice and soybeans and urban expansion which destroy wetlands and grasslands live in rain forests of South America, particularly in the Amazon basin, where they are semi-aquatic and are found near rivers, lakes, wetlands. They can also survive in dense forest and gallery forest.
